This year Abergavenny will be hosting its fourteenth Food Festival. Fork magazine has been the media partner since 2010, bringing our expertise in story telling and editorial craft to this fantastic and vibrant food festival. Much has changed since the first festival was held on a wet Sunday in October. On that day about 30 local food and drink producers exhibited their wares in the Market Hall and, despite the weather, the Abergavenny team were all surprised and delighted by the number of people who came out to taste and buy their products. Today the festival attracts over 35,000 visitors and also hosts a busy programme of talks, masterclasses, taster sessions and chef demonstrations.
The partnership Fork Magazine has with Abergavenny Food Festival is a match made in food heaven. We are able to bring our 20 (odd) years experience in cutting edge design, magazine production and marketing along side a fantastic and passionate group of people to tell the story of one of the best food festivals in the world.

The Great Bath Feast
Bath is going all foodie this autumn with a new festival ‘The Great Bath Feast.’ Taking place in October, the month long programme will feature celebrity chefs, street food, specialist producers, celebrity book signings, high profile guest appearances in well-known delis and wine tasting in glamorous venues. The essence of the event is to indulge and enjoy food and drink in a city which has been offering hospitality for hundreds of years.
Organised by Bath Tourism Plus and the Business Improvement District (BID) to celebrate the region’s local produce, the festival will highlight events scheduled throughout the city - details of which can be found on www.greatbathfeast.co.uk
Visitors to Bath can look forward to some great gastro performances by visiting celebrities Mark Hix, Angela Hartnett, Michael Caines and Raymond Blanc, along with the inside stories from food writers Matthew Fort, Giles Coren and Xanthe Clay. Throughout the month, the city’s B&Bs, restaurants and delis will be giving prominence to seasonal and local ingredients by serving up the ‘Great Bath Breakfast’ (local sourced), ‘Bath on a Plate’ (seasonal specials) and a ‘Bath Taste Trail’ which will flag up interesting foodie shops to visit and sample.
